The beginning package is perfect fo to r puppies andadult dogs with no previous training. All dogs in our program begin with private group classes because it is far more effective to l earn basic behaviors in a private settin with low distractions. Also, it is nearly impossile to address common puppry bwill cover these obedience cues as well as any house manners or behavioral issues you are having:issues like potty training and polite greetings in a class setting.Once, we master the basics, we move to a group class in the second level.

Canine Good Citizen and
Therapy Dog International Test Prep
Do you have a good dog who just needs the papers to prove it?
Yes! Yes! Good Dog! Offers a class designed to prepare dog/handler teams to pass the Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International performance tests.
This is for dogs who already know basic obedience cues to learn to perform test items.
The class is six sessions to be held in a variety of public places so everyone gets practice performing obedience cues in high-distraction environments.It will culminate with the CGC test. Cost is $200.
The American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen test (CGC) is a certification program that evaluates dogs in simulated everyday situations in a relaxed, noncompetitive atmosphere. Dogs that pass the CGC test are considered reliable family and community members and will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.
The CGC test evaluates dogs on the following:
Greets a friendly stranger
Sits politely for petting
Welcomes being groomed, brushed; allows paws and ears to be handled
Walks as directed on a loose leash
Moves politely through a crowd
Sits, lies down, and stays in place on command
Comes when called
Behaves politely around other dogs
Reacts with confidence to distractions
Can be left with a trusted person

This course is all about taking the behaviors we’ve learned so far and perfecting them in real-life situations with distractions like other dogs and people. Cost is $175.
